“Independent pollster” Scott Rasmussen is not so independent after all. Rasmussen has been receiving thousands of dollars in payments for participating in Republican events, as reported today by the website Media Matters for America.

I must add the Rasmussen is the only pollster finding Romney ahead of Obama recently in a hypothetical November matchup. Perhaps just a coincidence.
